Trust & Safety
Building a safer creator marketplace for podcast hosts and guests.
Last updated: June 11, 2026
Our Commitment
Podorax exists to help podcast hosts and creators find better conversations with less cold outreach. That only works if people believe profiles are real, requests are honest, messages are respectful, reviews are fair, and safety tools are available when something goes wrong.
Our trust and safety approach focuses on safe collaboration, useful reputation signals, clear reporting paths, and transparent product behavior. We are building for a professional marketplace where users can evaluate fit, communicate clearly, and prepare episodes without feeling exposed to spam or abuse.
Safety is not just enforcement after something bad happens. It also includes product choices that reduce confusion: clear profile fields, visible request details, accepted-response context in conversations, review status, notification preferences, saved items, and dashboard summaries that help users understand what is happening before they commit time to a collaboration.
Profile Verification Philosophy
Podorax does not currently claim formal identity verification for every user. Instead, we use a layered trust model: profile quality, relevant topics, languages, country, social links, past appearances, published episodes, reviews, reputation, marketplace activity, and user reports all help create a clearer picture.
A complete profile is not the same as a guaranteed identity check. Users should still use judgment before sharing sensitive information, moving off platform, or committing to a recording. Over time, Podorax may add stronger verification signals, but we will describe those features clearly when they exist.
We also avoid treating one signal as proof of trust. A creator can be new and still be a great guest. A profile can have many links and still deserve review. Reputation works best when signals are combined with context, including how the person communicates, whether their response matches the request, and whether the collaboration expectations are clear.
Reporting Problems
Reports help Podorax understand what users are experiencing. You can report suspicious profiles, fake guest requests, abusive messages, inappropriate attachments, review manipulation, copyright concerns, scams, impersonation, or other behavior that harms trust.
Useful reports include a clear summary, links or identifiers, timestamps, screenshots when available, and an explanation of what rule or safety concern may be involved. Reports are reviewed with context, and outcomes may depend on the available evidence.
Reporting is not only for extreme situations. It is also useful when patterns are emerging, such as repeated low-quality invitations, review pressure, suspicious profile links, or requests that seem to move users into unrelated sales funnels. Early reports help us improve product limits and moderation cues.
Blocking Users
Blocking is available inside conversations when you need to stop further messaging with a participant. Blocking is conversation-specific and is intended for situations where communication is no longer productive, safe, or wanted.
When a conversation is blocked, messaging is disabled for both participants in that conversation. Blocking does not automatically submit a report, remove reviews, delete content, or resolve a dispute. If behavior violates Podorax rules, submit a report as well so the safety team can review the situation.
Review Moderation
Reviews should help users understand collaboration quality. Podorax may review reported reviews and may moderate reviews that appear fake, retaliatory, abusive, discriminatory, unrelated to the collaboration, or created to manipulate reputation.
Moderation may include leaving the review visible, hiding it while investigating, removing it, changing its moderation status, excluding it from reputation calculations, or taking account-level action. We try to preserve honest feedback while reducing abuse.
Review moderation is not meant to erase uncomfortable but truthful feedback. A review may mention missed recordings, poor preparation, unclear communication, or a bad collaboration experience if it is grounded in what happened. The line is crossed when feedback becomes abusive, dishonest, discriminatory, retaliatory, or unrelated to the collaboration.
Content Moderation
Podorax may moderate content across profiles, guest requests, responses, invitations, messages, attachments, reviews, published episode references, and contact submissions. Moderation can be triggered by reports, platform signals, support requests, security concerns, or manual review.
We may remove or restrict content that is spammy, fake, abusive, infringing, unsafe, malicious, deceptive, discriminatory, or inconsistent with Podorax's purpose as a podcast collaboration platform. Some moderation may happen quickly when risk is high; other cases may require more context.
Investigation Process
When Podorax reviews a report, we may look at the reported content, account history, conversation context, public profile details, review records, technical signals, and any information the reporter provided. We aim to make decisions based on evidence and risk, not popularity or pressure.
Possible outcomes include no action, user education, warnings, content edits or removal, review moderation, feature restrictions, blocking support, temporary suspension, permanent removal, or security escalation. Serious issues may require preserving records for legal, safety, or fraud prevention reasons.
Some investigations are simple, such as removing a clearly fake profile photo or obvious spam request. Others require more context, especially when two users disagree about a collaboration. We may not be able to share every detail of an investigation because doing so could expose private information, security signals, or another user's report.
Appeals
If your content or account is restricted and you believe there was a mistake, contact Podorax with the decision you are appealing, the affected content or account, and any evidence that adds context. Clear, specific appeals are easier to review than broad objections.
We may reverse, modify, or maintain a decision. Appeals may take longer when they involve safety issues, legal concerns, copyright questions, repeated abuse, or multiple users. Filing an appeal does not give permission to evade restrictions with a new account.
A good appeal explains what happened, why you believe the decision was wrong, what context may have been missed, and what you will change if the issue involved unclear communication or accidental misuse. Appeals that contain threats, harassment, or false information may be denied or escalated.
Safety Tips
Most Podorax collaborations should feel straightforward: review a profile, evaluate a request, respond or invite, message, schedule, record, and publish. If something feels rushed, vague, or suspicious, take time to verify before moving forward.
Good safety habits make the marketplace stronger for everyone, especially as more hosts, creators, agencies, and studios join.
When in doubt, keep communication on Podorax until the collaboration feels legitimate and expectations are clear.
- Review profiles, topics, languages, country, links, and reviews before accepting a collaboration.
- Avoid suspicious links, unexpected downloads, or requests for passwords, payment details, or private credentials.
- Keep communication clear and professional, especially around recording time, format, promotion, and expectations.
- Use blocking and reporting tools when a conversation becomes unsafe, abusive, or deceptive.
- Be careful when moving conversations to third-party tools; those services have their own privacy and safety practices.
Contact Safety Team
If you need help with a safety concern, use the Contact page and choose the most relevant topic. Include enough information for us to locate the account, request, review, conversation, or content involved.
For urgent security issues, use the Security page guidance. For copyright questions, use the Copyright page or contact form. For community behavior, reports, or moderation decisions, Trust & Safety is the best starting point.
If a concern involves immediate danger or illegal conduct outside Podorax, contact local emergency services or appropriate authorities first. Podorax can review platform activity, but we cannot provide emergency response, personal legal representation, or law enforcement services.
